Clinicians utilize a variety of criterion referenced, standardized, and/or curriculum based assessments. Such assessment tools include Early Start Denver Model, PEAK, ABLLS, VB-Mapp, AIM, Peers Curriculum, Vineland, and/or AFLS.
Our clinicians will assess and determine based on symptoms, verbal repertoire, age, and scores based on standardized testing to prescribe the best level of service (comprehensive, focused, parent training) model for your family.
Our experienced clinicians will asses behaviors based on function and provide a blueprint of proactive and reactive strategies that families can implement along with feedback and guidance.
Consultants can provide families with guidance, consultation, and/or advocacy for families regarding IEP goals, IEP placement, and tri-annual evaluations. The focus and goal is to work collaboratly with your IEP team and making sure your goals/values are addressed with your IEP team.
Dr. Lori Ochoa is committed to helping parents, children, and adolescents build new skills and repertoires in accepting and overcoming their daily challenges. Specifically, Dr. Lori Ochoa will provide skills, exercises, and acceptance of thoughts through experiential learning opportunities.
